Mini Diggers for Landscaping

The right size for landscaping

Most landscaping jobs are defined by access, not depth. You need a machine that gets through a standard gateway or side passage without damaging fences, paths or lawns. That's exactly where a micro or small mini digger shines.

Our 0.65-tonne L600 is 690 mm wide and light on the ground, ideal for reshaping gardens, digging beds and ponds, clearing and levelling, and prepping for patios, decking and turf. When a project needs more reach and depth, such as larger retaining work or moving more material, the 1-tonne L1000 steps up while still fitting through a 930 mm gap.

A quick-hitch lets you move between a digging bucket, a grading bucket for levelling, and a rake for clearing stones and debris, so one machine handles dig, move and finish.

Protecting the ground while you work

Landscaping often means working on or near finished surfaces, so a light machine matters. A micro digger's low weight and rubber tracks spread the load and reduce marking on lawns and paving compared with a heavier machine. Boards under the tracks on soft ground help further.

For the finishing work, a grading bucket levels and shapes cleanly, and a rake clears stones and roots ready for turf or planting. Add the attachments you need at checkout and they arrive with the machine.

Frequently asked questions

What size mini digger is best for landscaping?
For most gardens, a 0.65-tonne micro digger like our L600 is ideal: at 690 mm wide it fits through a standard gate and is light on lawns. For larger projects with more depth or material to move, a 1-tonne machine gives more reach while still fitting tight access.
Will a mini digger damage my lawn?
A light micro digger on rubber tracks spreads its weight and marks far less than a heavy machine. On soft ground, laying boards under the tracks reduces marking further. The lighter the machine, the gentler it is on finished surfaces.
What attachments are useful for landscaping?
A digging bucket for beds and ponds, a wider grading bucket for levelling, and a rake for clearing stones, roots and debris. All our machines are quick-hitch compatible, so you can swap between them in minutes.
Are the machines new or used?
Every machine is brand new and built to order, not ex-hire or second hand. You get a clean history, no hidden wear and a full 12-month warranty from day one.
How much does a mini digger cost?
Because we sell factory-direct, prices start well below a comparable dealer machine. A micro digger sits at the lower end of the range, with 1 to 2-tonne machines costing more as digging depth and power increase. All prices include VAT and free delivery.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes. Every machine is delivered free to your door anywhere in mainland UK on a dedicated transport service, usually within 4 to 6 weeks, with updates the whole way.
Is finance available?
Yes. Finance options are available so you can spread the cost into manageable monthly payments rather than paying the full amount upfront. Get in touch and we'll talk you through what's available.
Can I add attachments?
Yes. Every machine is quick-hitch compatible with buckets, rippers, breakers, augers, thumbs and more, added at checkout so they arrive with the machine.
