Lion Machines started when we saw how advanced excavator manufacturing in China had become, and how big the gap was between that and the price UK trades were paying for a machine.

How we work

We split our time between our base in Oxford and China, and we've spent the time visiting factories and handpicking the manufacturers we work with, not ordering off a generic catalogue. Every machine we build is inspected by us in China before it leaves the factory, bringing durable micro and mini excavators to the UK at a fraction of the cost of a big name machine.

Going direct also means we can build to spec, tracks, cabin, engine, hydraulics, so you get a machine set up for the job, not whatever's sitting in a dealer's yard.
