Mini Digger Finance: How It Works and What It Costs
Buying a mini digger outright is not the only way to get one working for you. Spreading the cost through finance means the machine can start earning on your jobs while you are still paying it off.
How mini digger finance works
Rather than paying the full purchase price upfront, finance splits the cost into fixed monthly instalments over an agreed term, typically between 12 and 60 months. Once approved, the machine is delivered and paid for the same way a car on finance would be, with ownership transferring at the end of the agreement depending on the finance type chosen.
When finance makes more sense than buying outright
If a machine is going to be earning you money from day one, whether through your own groundworks jobs or by taking on work you previously had to hire equipment for, financing it means that income can cover the monthly payment rather than tying up cash reserves in a single upfront purchase.
What affects your monthly payment
- The purchase price of the machine and any attachments included
- The length of the finance term, with longer terms lowering monthly cost but increasing total interest paid
- Any deposit paid upfront, which reduces the amount financed
Our finance is arranged directly, so speak to us via contact for current rates, or use our payback calculator to see how quickly a financed machine covers its own monthly cost against hire rates.
